REPAIRS
\n\u2022 Cut out a patch large enough to overlap the damaged area by 30 mm from all sides.
\n\u2022 Centre the overlapping patch over the damaged area trace with a pencil the outline of patch.
\n\u2022 Clean the surroudings of the puncture and the patch with solvent.
\n\u2022 Apply two thin layers of adhesive using a short bristle brush, in a cifcular pattern on both the
\nbackside of the patch and the patch area on the boat. Allow the first layer to dry completely
\n(approximately 15 minutes) before applying the second layer. The second layer should dry
\nuntill tacky, then heat with a hairdryer to about 30 – 40 degrees, apply the patch to the
\nprepared area and press down firmly. Using a smooth object (the back of a tablespoon works
\nwell), force out any air bubbles that may have been trapped under the patch, working from
\nthe centre of the patch to the outside. Wait 24 hours before you inflate the boat again.
\nWARNING! Larger areas or, if the parts overlaps a seam, should be patched by a professional
